Andrea Burns spent much of 2007 wowing audiences with her Drama Desk-winning performance as Daniela the saucy hair salon owner, in the runaway off-Broadway hit "In the Heights." Hailed as one of the great interpreters of American Musical Theatre, she has had the distinction of originating songs by Jason Robert Brown, John Bucchino, and Stephen Sondheim.
