"Let's love tonight," they said, "There may be no tomorrow!" Helen Hayes, Gary Cooper, and Adolphe Menjou, star in this adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's famous novel about a romance born in the fury of World War 1. Nominated for a Best Picture Oscar in 1934, this stunning feature from director Frank Borzage earned an Academy Award for cinematographer Charles Lang. Among the other accolades heaped on this Paramount Pictures classic, The National Board of Review placed it on their Top Ten Films of the year list.
