Product Notes
Small town attorney, Lynn Hollister (John Wayne) investigates the supposed suicide of his childhood friend in the big city. He sets out to prove that an above-the-law politician (Edward Ellis) is actually crooked, but the price of integrity is sweet this instance, since Lynn happens to be in love with the politician's beautiful daughter (Francis Dee). The stellar cast includes Wallace Ford as the top newspaperman in town, Harold Huber as the politician's sleazy henchman and Ward Bond as a crime syndicate thug. Directed by John H. Auer (City That Never Sleeps).
