Product Notes
Legendary novelist Robert Louis Stevenson (Edgar Barrier, MacBeth) takes a trip to the Old West, searching for story material. Upon entering Silverado, he sees Bill Foss (William Bishop, the Killer That Stalked New York), an independent stagecoach driver looking to start his own line. Foss's arrival riles the town's stage-line driver, Zeke Butler (Forrest Tucker, TV's "F Troop"), who challenges Foss to a race and runs him off the road. Now penniless and without a horse, Foss must take a job with stage-line operator Jeannie Manning (Gloria Henry, Rancho Notorious). But when a bandit known as the Monk keeps robbing stages, Foss is accused of being in cahoots with him. It's up to Foss to clear his name and expose the true identity of the Monk. Newly remastered.
