Oscar-«-nominated actor Ralph Bellamy (1937, Best Supporting Actor, the Awful Truth) stars as Barry Eldon, a loyal owner of a small airline company looking for a big government contract. When Consolidated Industries tries to buy Barry out, he refuses, and the greedy owners of Consolidated come up with a scheme to take Barry's company down: A ray that causes airplanes to lose their engines and crash. It is up to Barry to find out where the ray is coming from before he loses any more planes - or pilots.
