(SACD-HYBRID) Georg Gulyas' second CD on Proprius also consists of works by Spanish and Latin American composers. The first three works are by the Spanish guitarist and composer Francisco T'rrega, for example the famous tremolo etude "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" and "Capricho rabe". Here Georg Guly's plays "C'rdoba" from the suite "Cantos de Espana Op. 232" and the very charming "Tango". Also included are pieces by Joaquin Turina ("Sevillana Op. 29"), Frederico Mompou ("Suite compostelana") and Manuel Ponce ("Sonatina meridional"). This SACD ends with two of the world's favorite tangos - the Argentine composer Angel Villoldo's "El Choclo" and "La Cumparsita" by Matos Rodriguez from Uruguay.
