As a new psychiatrist at a New Jersey asylum called the Haven, Dr. Dan Potter (Dwight Schultz), tries to work with four of the institution's most dangerous and disturbed cases. But during a power failure, the quartet escapes and, somehow convinced Potter killed his predecessor, sets out to terrorize him and his family.
