Cary Grant stars as a wealthy-yet-unfulfilled millionaire who attempts to spend a year among the working classes instead of relying on his family fortune in this British comedy-romance. But his loyalties are challenged when he falls in love with a woman from the impoverished side of town. Co-starring Mary Brian, the film is based on best-selling novel "The Amazing Quest of Ernest Bliss", which is also the title used for it's original UK release.
