In London, homeless, PTSD-wracked veteran Tomaz (Alec Secareanu) was steered by a kindly nun (Imelda Staunton) toward a beneficial situation-live-in handyman at the dilapidated home of painfully shy Magda (Carla Juri) and her unseen, attic-bound mother. As he settles in, however, he comes to learn that the link between his landladies is anything but normal... or even earthly.
