Product Notes
Angel and the Badman - Digitally Remasted John Wayne stars as Quirt Evans, a notorious gunfighter and all-round bad guy, who, when seriously wounded in a battle, is taken in and sheltered by a kind Quaker family. Soon enough, Evans finds himself falling for the angelic daughter of the family, Penelope (Gail Russell), who nurses him back to health. With a newfound sense of love, Evans' steely demeanor softens. However, he is unable to give up his obsession with seeking bloody retribution on the man who killed his father, Laredo Stevens (Bruce Cabot). Ultimately, Evans is forced to make the difficult choice between love and revenge. With an additional standout performance from Harry Carey as Wistful McClintock, a single-minded sheriff who is determined to bring Evans and Stevens to justice, "Angel and the Badman" is a brilliant Western classic that deserves to be seen!
