Product Notes
Another Part of the Forest is a shocking drama starring Fredic March as the patriarch of a highly troubled family. In the small town of Bowden, Alabama, no household is as vicious as the Hubbards, led by patriarch Marcus (March), a tyrannical Civil War profiteer. Appalled by her childrens ruthlessness and greed, their mother Lavinia (Florence Eldridge), watches helplessly as Ben (Edmund OBrien), Oscar (Dan Duryea) and Regina (Ann Blyth) scheme to get hold of their fathers fortune, each by their own vile means. The intrigue and cruelty soon comes to a head, when Marcus darkest secret is revealed, a betrayal that could destroy him if Bowden learns of his sin.
