She first enjoyed European success with a French No. 1, 'Bobo's Party', and a Dutch hit, 'Beautiful People'. It was her Woodstock-inspired worldwide hit 'Lay Down (Candles In The Rain)' that broke her to a huge audience. Both 'Candles In The Rain' and 'Leftover Wine' enjoyed major chart success all over the globe.
