Bum Kon (named after Korean mass murderer Woo Bum Kon) was one of the best Hardcore bands in the early '80's, even if few outside of Denver knew it. Larry Denning, Mark Thorpe, Erik Oberhausen and Bob McDonald thrashed on par with any other teenage punkers in the US. In 1983, the band recorded their only single, 'Drunken Sex Sucks'. Five songs appeared on the single but twenty more were recorded at the same session and have been unavailable until now.
