A new band yes, for at least 99.9% of the metal community. But Brazen was there years ago with a cool demo, showcasing a high velocity thrash metal that was very popular at the time. Coming from the small coastal town of Matane (Québec), the grand beaches and fresh air are probably a few of the reasons why this band is so intense and as sharp as a razor blade... they cut through your flesh with precision riffs at formula one velocity!!! The whole album is based on unbelievable and challenging riffs, this is technical stuff akin to the great FORBIDDEN and TESTAMENT with a grade A rhythm section. This is flawless and Brazen will be a regular spoken name in the underground circuit in the next few months. This is f***ing outstanding!
