Benjamin Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie brought together fourteen of his favorite bands on one day in January of 2007 to create a portrait of one of the world's most thriving music scenes. Each band plays one song and it's delivered here as it happened, in order, in a jam-packed 55 minutes. Producer Brendan Canty (Fugazi) and director Christoph Green have now filmed six editions to this series. Although the shows are usually filmed in a house shortly before it's destroyed, the house at the center of this edition was saved and recycled. The ending sequence is uplifting, weird, and energizing. Contributors include Eddie Vedder, Tiny Vipers, Minus the Bear, the Long Winters, Kinski, the Can't See, and more.
