"Hardtack" Hamilton (Chester Morris, The Big House) runs a U.S. Army training ground for bomber pilots near the Panama Canal, but he hasn't had a pilot like Harley Ames (John Hubbard, The Mummy's Tomb), a reckless but qualified flyer who makes life hard for Hamilton. Ames causes trouble when he makes a move on Hamilton's woman, Susan (Harriet Hilliard, TV's "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet"), and then gets into an accident, killing a pilot.
