Debut album from the new project of Ian Schlein (who recorded with/as Musical Chairs in the '90s), that sounds fairly similar to his earlier work: melancholic & melodic jangly pop with layered acoustic & electric guitars and soft vocals (which are also usually layered) that's like a melding of Bobby Wratten & Dean Wareham.
