Product Notes
Approached by someone sitting next to him at the counter while he's stopped at a roadside cafe, private investigator Michael Brennen (O.J. Simpson, the Naked Gun) ignores his own better judgment and agrees to give the annoying guy a ride. When the man asks that he help find his missing girlfriend, Dani Anatole (Irena Ferris, Paternity), Brennen refuses. A few weeks later, his pal from the police department, Sergeant Khoury (Eugene Roche, TV's Webster), arrives to say that there's been a murder and that Brennen's card was found on the corpse. After Brennen recognizes the dead man as the guy from the cafe, Khoury identifies him as two bit drug dealer Joey Crawford (John Spencer, TV's the West Wing). And now, Brennen is plunged headlong into a murder investigation with drug addicts, dealers and a host of unsavory characters.
