Product Notes
From the popular video-game channel G4, comes Code Monkeys, a wild show about a fictitious game company GameaVision and it's eccentric employees. Set in the 1980s, at the dawn of the home computer era, the show raucously mimics a classic video-game. With 8-bit slackers Dave and his high-strung best bud Jerry at the helm, Code Monkeys offers a laugh-riot of dysfunctional greatness. Grounded in black comedy and making frequent reference to popular 1980s video-games, television and movies, the show is filled with cameos from well known computer developers and gaming developers, ironically pitching ideas that would later make them famous. Creator Adam de la Pena, the wild and twisted mind behind Comedy Central's I'm with Busey and Adult Swim's Minoriteam, has done it again, giving US a new animated series that Wired magazine hails as 'veering into the wildly surreal'.
