It features an all-star cast of composers and musicians, many long-associated with the Kenton orchestra including Shorty Rogers, Dee Barton, Ralph Carmichael, Dalton Smith, Al Porcino, Conte Candoli, Bob Fitzpatrick, Jim Amlotte, Bud Shank, and more. On disc two Joel Kaye directs the New York Neophonic Orchestra and the Neophonic Jazz Orchestra.
