Product Notes
Includes a 36 page book. There have been other collections that tried to capture Conway's early years, but this one is definitive. It covers the eight years from his pre-Sun recording of Rock House to the ultra-rare ABC recordings of Such a Night and My Baby Left Me, cut just weeks before Conway went country. In between are the classic MGM hits and rockabilly high-spots, including Lonely Blue Boy (originally recorded by Elvis as Danny), Long Black Train, Hey Miss Ruby, Is a Blue Bird Blue (the earliest hit for the great Dan Penn), and of course It's Only Make Believe.
