For years, Guided By Voices had a series of releases called the Fading Captain series. These were available online through mail-order were all either Robert Pollard side-projects, solo releases, or some form of rare Guided By Voices releases. Some were CDs, some were vinyl only. CRICKETS is going to be the last Fading Captain release and it's a best of from all of those releases.
