Just when it looked like sensitive and sweet-natured radio producer Brad Whitaker (Will Ferrell) was making some headway in his hard-fought battle for the respect and affection of his wife’s (Linda Cardellini) kids from a previous marriage, their dad─confident and cut freewheeling man’s man Dusty Mayron (Mark Wahlberg)─decided to re-enter their lives.
