A classic 1940s noir set almost entirely aboard an ominous freighter travelling from Central America to Galveston, Texas, this film revolves around the ill-fated Joe Beck (portrayed by none other than the original Batman, Robert Lowery) as he attempts to retrieve his deceased grandfathers fortune. With a cast filled out by B-movie royalty like Phyllis Brooks (In Old New York) and Jack LaRue (A Farewell to Arms), this little-known Golden Era gem packs a surprising amount of twists and turns into it's 60-minute runtime.
