Hailing from Leipzig, Germany's Tension's influences were firm: the First Wave of Swedish Heavy Metal, including the likes of Gotham City and Heavy Load, the always-eternal NWOBHM; heavy metal from the Eastern Bloc and different kinds of punk music, Their debut album is pure heavy metal, through and through, with juiced-up hard rock, and the power is always in abundance but never overbearing.
