In this colorful and exciting jungle adventure, prospector Jim Brecan (Robert Ryan) goes on the run after being accused of killing a local prince in Burma. Brecan seeks refuge in a teak plantation owned by wealthy Gwen Moore (Barbara Stanwyck), whose attraction to him puts her in jeopardy when a colonial lawman (David Farrar)arrives on the scene in search of the fugitive.
