Roberto Martínez and his group Los Reyes de Albuquerque (The Kings of Albuquerque) have been proponents of New Mexican and Southern Colorado musical traditions since the group's founding in 1962. Largely a family affair, many of Roberto's children and grandchildren have performed with Los Reyes and other musical projects specializing in regional music from the southwestern United States and Mexico. Farewell Concert brings together the artistry of three generations of Martínez family musicians and friends, including Roberto Sr., his wife Ramona, three of their children Lorenzo, Roberto Jr.., and Doris, as well as two of their grandchildren, Larry and Sheila.
