Single disc reissue of this 1985 album from the acclaimed Alt-Rock singer/songwriter. THE FIRSTBORN IS DEAD was the second studio album released by Nick and the Bad Seeds. On this record, Cave continued his fascination with the American South, with it's references to Elvis Presley and bluesmen like Blind Lemon Jefferson. The photography is by Jutta Heinglein.
