Limited apple red colored vinyl LP pressing. Originally delivered at a "Free Huey" rally on February 17, 1968, at the Oakland Auditorium, Stokely Carmichael opened his speech by calling for the celebration of Huey P. Newton's birthday not "as Huey Newton the individual, but as Huey Newton, part and parcel of Black people wherever we are on the world today." This passionate critique of American racism, imperialism, and capitalism was released by Motown Records' Black Forum in 1970, the year his conviction was reversed.
