Three CDs. First released in 2001, Coke Machine Glow was Gord Downie's first solo album away from The Tragically Hip. On the album's 20th anniversary, this version features unreleased tracks, alternate takes, and kitchen table recordings, all with a rarely heard intimacy, unrefined and dripping in aura. Songwriters' Cabal is a document of Gord at the precipice of his illustrious solo career, stepping to the mic "voice twinkling like a chandelier" with everything left to prove.
