Taking advantage of those displaced by natural disasters, malicious opportunist Phineas Flagg buys up a soon-to-be-condemned tract of land in Arizona's Gunsmoke to sell to the itinerants. While most of them fall for Flagg's trickery, the Three Mesquiteers call his bluff and attempt to reveal him for the avaricious cad he is; but is it too late to change the minds of their peers and save the day?
