Product Notes
Legalization of Marijuana is a hot topic in the US. California's Proposal 18 aims to tax the sale of Marijuana and legalize adult use in the state. Three other states are calling for legalization this year and currently, Marijuana is decriminalized and available for medical use in 15 states across the country. California music groups Slightly Stoopid and Cypress Hill have taken to the road with the "Legalize It 2010" tour to commemorate this historic season. Greensleeves Records has teamed up with Slightly Stoopid and record label Controlled Substance Sound Labs to promote the new video for the hit "No Cocaine" included here, on the third edition of the ultimate collection of 'weed tunes'; HI GRADE GANJA ANTHEMS 3. The album is 18 blazing hits extolling the attributes of Marijuana use, from an international array of reggae artists; "Real Story" by Alborosie (Italy) and "Ganja Smoke in the Air" by Ziggi (Netherlands) both feature. Of course, Jamaica is represented with multiple anthems including Capleton's latest "Acres".
