2009 release from the German Metal band. Tired of former bands and musical projects going no where, five Berlin citizens formed War from a Harlot's Mouth between the end of 2005 and spring 2006 with a clear goal: To mix all their influences into an extreme and experimental cocktail, combining the technical fury of Mathcore, the brutality of Grindcore, the spirit of Hardcore and a fine blend of smooth Jazz. In Shoals takes Extreme Metal to the next level, as it combines advanced complexity with devastating brutality in one violent comprehensive approach. Their new shouter Nico (former vocalist of the Ocean) is adding a whole new depth to the band's sound, ranging from gut-wrenching, overturning screams to deep grunts and everything in between.
