"BDK" brings out his sophomore effort here with more control and more hustle than before: Kane produced the majority of this album himself! Kane showcases his versatility as a rapper and writer here, with love songs, battle raps and gold-chain anthems-but nothing else on the album hits quite as hard as the lead single "Smooth Operator" an instant classic for the golden age of hip hop.
