For serious scientist Cameron Edwin (Jim Gaffigan), career topped out at being a Bill Nye wannabe for a local TV station-a position that, like his fed-up spouse Erin (Rhea Seehorn), he's about to lose. When a chunk of Soviet space tech crashes in his back yard, however, he finds new purpose as he rehabilitates the wreckage for a return to the stars.
