Two teens from opposite sides of the track become unlikely dance partners in the charming romantic comedy Mad About Mambo. While his classmates dream of getting rich and dating beautiful women, Irish working class teen Danny Mitchell (William Ash) wants to make soccer his life and play for Belfast United. Convinced the secret of success lies in the Brazilian players rhythmic footwork, Danny decides to improve his game by learning how to samba. Enrolling at a local dance school, he meets Lucy McLoughlin (Keri Russell), an upper-class girl who also happens to be the most talented in the class. When her partner is injured, Danny steps into his place as he attempts to win the competition in Latin Dance and Lucy's heart.
