The Magnificent Dope

Dwight Dawson (Don Ameche) owns a school for success that has fallen on hard times. As a publicity stunt to attract students, Dawson searches for the laziest man in America to make a success out of him. When he finds the cheerful, uncomplicated Tad Page (Henry Fonda), it's Tads easygoing ways that win out over Dawson's moneymaking schemes.
