Eard pays homage to Anglo-Saxon poetry, such homage beginning with the very name of the band, the Old English word used to describe the concept of earth, land and home. Melancholia tells tales of misty lands of old and ancient voyages across the seas, and it's haunting melodies will pierce through the greyness of everyday life. With a cover painted by Silvia Luppi a.k.a. The Veil of Arda and mastered by Nekkomix, Eard's Melancholia will be released on CD, LP released November 29, 2024.
