At the turn of the century, William Murdoch uses radical forensic techniques for the time, including fingerprinting, blood tests, and trace evidence, to solve some of the Toronto’s most intriguing murders. Real history is an important element in most episodes/plots, though fictious, sometimes involve real people, such as Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley, and Alexander Graham Bell.
