Product Notes
2007 digitally re-mastered and expanded reissue of Boney M.'s third album, originally released in 1978, featuring two bonus tracks: 'Mary's Boy Child/Oh My Lord' and 'Dancing in the Street'. This Euro-Disco quartet were put together by producer/songwriter Frank Farian and their albums and singles were aimed directly at the dance floors across the world. Boney M.'s sound featured male/female harmony vocals, a stomping Disco beat, swooping strings, funky guitar and hook-filled melodies that are still fondly remembered by millions of fans worldwide. After Boney M, Farian's next successful project was the equally popular but ill-fated Milli Vanilli. 12 tracks including 'Rasputin', 'Rivers of Babylon' and a cover of Neil Young's 'Heart of Gold'. Faria.
