The Broughton family have gathered to the remote, gloomy Yorkshire estate of the late Gabriel Broughton, each with hopes that a generous inheritance awaits in the reading of the will. But when the lights go out during the reading, the motley group of hopeful heirs is thrown into utter chaos.
