Canadian Brass makes it's perfect landing with this sequel to it's award winning CD "Takes Flight." From the exuberant Piccolo Trumpet notes of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto to the mesmerizing music of Spain, Canadian Brass takes their listeners on a fantastic musical journey that only they can deliver. The Canadian Brass is a Canadian brass quintet formed in 1970 in Toronto, Ontario by trombonist Gene Watts and tuba player Charles Daellenbach. The group performs internationally and has recorded more than 100 CDs and DVDs. They have commissioned, performed, and recorded hundreds of transcriptions and original works for brass quintet. As of 2015, the quintet is composed of trumpeters Caleb Hudson and Chris Coletti; horn player Bernhard Scully; trombonist Achilles Liarmakopoulos; as well as Daellenbach.
