Mystery rides the clouds in a murder plane in this thriller from director Elmer Clifton (Assassin of Youth, Seven Doors to Death), one of the most prolific filmmakers of Hollywoods early sound era. Pilot X is a curious mixture of murder mystery, old dark house suspense, and high flying aero adventure. The story concerns pilots being shot down by a mysterious black plane with a large X painted on the wing.
