The television western might have ridden off into the sunset and the movie western might be nowhere near as popular as it used to be, but the popularity of the old theme songs shows no sign of abating. This, the fourth volume in our hugely popular anthology of western movie and television songs, is in no way overshadowed by the earlier installments. Among the 25 songs are Dean Martin's studio version of: My Rifle, My Pony And Me, Sheb Wooley's Rawhide, Vaughn Monroe's The Ride Back, Frankie Laine's Man Without A Star, Tex Ritter's Gunsmoke, Johnny Cash's Bonanza, and, perhaps the greatest western theme of them all, Gene Autry's Back In The Saddle Again. There's even a little high camp in the form of Julie London's Saddle The Wind and two rare vocal performances from the big screen's biggest stars, Henry Fonda's Rolling Stone and Anthony Perkins' The Kentuckian Song
