Product Notes
This 4-Disc DVD Boxset is the complete fourth season of "Road to Avonlea" / "Avonlea" (as shown on the Disney channel). Olivia (Mag Ruffman) and Jasper (R.H. Thompson) await the birth of their first baby. Meanwhile, Hetty (Jackie Burroughs) resigns from teaching to pursue a writing career and develops a secret friendship with the new schoolteacher, Clive Pettibone (David Fox). Sara (Sarah Polley) experiences her first adolescent heartache, when she falls for an aging Wild West show cowboy, played by Treat Williams; while Felicity's (Gema Zamprogna) friendship with Gus Pike (Michael Mahonen) turns serious. Looking for places to invest her money, Hetty becomes a not-so-silent partner in the White Sands Hotel and proceeds to make Simon Tremayne's (Ian D. Clark) life a living hell. The finale sees Hetty and Jasper working together to make a "home movie" in order to save Avonlea from the hands of a ruthless land developer.
