Royal Deceit

Based on the same Danish legend that inspired Shakespeare's "Hamlet," this lavish adventure yarn from director Gabriel Axel ("Babette's Feast") is set in 6th-century Denmark and tells of the bitter struggle between Prince Amled (Christian Bale) and his uncle Fenge (Gabriel Byrne) over the throne of Amled's father, the murdered king of Jutland.
