Since her mother's recent death, 12-year-old Georgie (Lola Campbell) has gotten by in her Essex flat-so far-by stealing and reselling bikes alongside her bestie Ali (Alin Uzun) and faking out social services into believing she's under the care of an uncle. It will all become undone once Jason (Harris Dickinson), the good-for-nothing father she's never known, shows up looking for a place to stay.
