Product Notes
This undiscovered gem from Canada contains an 18-minute interview in which Fulson talks about his long career, going back to the early days with blues pioneer Texas Alexander. Fulson may well be better known for hits he's written for others (i.e. "Tramp," made famous by Otis Redding & Carla Thomas), but he's also one of the seminal R&B artists of modern times, considered a living link between the rural Texas Blues of the past and the Rhythm and Blues of today. Lowell continues to tour and record.
