The debut album from 1983 is a white-hot guitar fest of Radio Birdman/Saints/Stooges inspired punk rock. Contains some of the Rifles' most blazing and raw performances with the opening one-two punch of Killing Time and Society. This album set the pace for all their following releases with Lovelock's often ascorbic, wry observations of society, particularly Australia's suburban culture, topping the ferocious twin-guitar attack of Steedman and Morris.
