Depeche Mode was the most successful synth-pop group in history even before it broke through in the late '80s. This 17-song set (previously an import only title) rediscovers the band's original sound and includes 6 songs not on 1985's singles album (Catching Up with Depeche Mode), including their 1st recording with original member Vince Clarke on vocals. This release follows the band's successful U.S. and U.K. tour at the end of 1998 and the release of the Singles 86 98.
